How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
There’s a story behind every name..and the name Doomsday project describes it all..it was 2007..and the Hand of doom & The Masked Mouse were chillin in the bunker studio contemplating our next musical adventure after the break up of our previous band..talking about the geo,political/economic/environmental state of our country and the world..and the direction our crazy crooked psychopathic so called leaders/politicians were taking us with their fake war on terror..(Google…7 countries 5 years) ..SMH.🙈🙊🙉 and you thought it was jus fake ->WMDs and oil ? that was just the beginning !!! So we thought let’s make a track addressing what’s going down..and the track Do you think that’s alright was manifested created and stamped with a big Anarchy-> A<-the Doomsday project was born and from there !! At First we started out as the dynamic duo with a (gorillaz <-the band) style vision for our project ..studio based with visuals and art for the Internet but then we hooked up with some like minded friends to take it live so we did..!! What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences? I would say That’s a hard one because we come from different backgrounds but the truth is music has no colour class race religion or gender even though mortal men seem to need boxes to define 🤔 everything ? Like the great Bob Marley said ..when music 🎶 hits you you’ll feel no pain !! And even that was a friendly lie..😘 jus listen to -> no woman no cry & redemption song Feel the pain ! 😫😭 ..so I would say everything from Tchaikovsky to blackflag and everything Inbetween.

Funny you should ask..we just posted 2 new tracks on the reverberation page and have a ton of unfinished musical bombs 🔊🎶💣 🔥 ready to prepare for lock and load..🎯 and as for the collaboration..we’ve made a chilled punk/rap refix of aled Jones Walking 🚶♂️ in the air called…There’s something in the air..it’s about climate change and pollution etc..So if anyone knows where he is let us know ? So we can bung him in the back of the van and bring him to the bunker to record his verse instead of kidnapping a choir boy 👦 <–🤣🤣😂

Our ultimate goal is Just like every other gifted musicaly 🎼 minded artist to have their music 🎶 and message be played heard loved hated and despised all around the world 🌎 ♥ 🤣 and the plan of action 🎬 and the messege in the music is more relevant today than it was back then because the truth never gets old and the truth never dies it always reveals its self in end. on the planet..making a career out of music ..while trying keep every day life on track..
What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?
Usually the hand of doom comes up with a riff or beat then we write the chorus then add the lyrics samples and instruments or visa versa ..we even get inspiration when we are messing around..take the track it’s All F#@ up it started off with singing it along with elvis im all shook up..so we punked the F#@ out of it..lol
How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
It’s revolutionary and really the only way for unsigned/independent/underground/bedroom artists to get their music dreams and vision out to the world 🌎

Most musicians and artists are influenced by their idols they listened to when they were growing up..take the artist..prince..everybody would say icon or original..but you can see the guitar 🎸 skills of hendrix..the dance 💃 moves of James brown and the flamboyance of King Louis.. take ya pick !!
