Alexandre Stahl,
What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
EDM, Dubstep and Synthwave most of the time. My music is rather energetic, melodic, powerful, mellow and dreamy. It can express joy or sadness through various instruments. Sometimes the atmosphere becomes dark.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
I used my imagination. I looked for a name and I found it at home.
What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?
Depeche Mode, Muse, Bloc Party, Netsky, Feint, Fred V & Grafix, Dimension, Koven, Noisestorm, Porter Robinson, Madeon, Marshmello, Skrillex, San Holo, Andy C, Delta Heavy, Pegboard Nerds, Two Steps From Hell (epic music) and other artists. I listened mostly to electronic music.
What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?
I’m working on a synthpop single which is soon finished. I’d like to work more on EDM, synthwave or dubstep tracks in the future. I started an album project from an idea I had and I’m thinking of working on it in 2022.
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?
To share great music with people who like it and to develop a source of income. I want to grow my SoundCloud and Spotify profiles first. I am open to new opportunities.
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
Getting radio quality sound has been a big challenge. My first songs had nothing to do with the music I produce now…
What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?
I don’t really have a typical process. I can start making a song from a vocal sample, a drum sample, a melody or a chord progression.
How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
Social networks haven’t brought me many benefits so far. But it’s an interesting source of knowledge and it could help me to make myself known.
What Are Some Tracks and Artists Currently On Your Playlist?
Marshmello – Tell Me
Pegboard Nerds – Emoji
Bassnectar – You And Me (ft. W. Darling)
Porter Robinson & Madeon – Shelter
MitiS – Foundations Feat. Adara
Madeon – Imperium
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
I was a child who played with his classmates at school and with some LEGO at home. I grew up in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland).
Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
I would say ‘take action consistently’, ‘stay true to yourself’, ‘be patient, take the time to develop your strategy’, and ‘be prepared to learn new skills and how the music industry works’.
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
It’s hard to say. Maybe provide more assistance to new artists.
How Do You Feel About Originality?
Originality is important to stand out as an artist. I think that I still have many things to experiment with, and new paths to explore. And I would say not to focus too much on the originality at the beginning.
Is There Anything Else We Should Know About You Or That You Would Like to Add?
The piano is one of my favorite instruments, I play it from time to time.
My website may be subject to change (content and design).
Apart from music, physical and mental health is a subject that means a lot to me.
And I’d also like to add that my parents aren’t musicians.
