Bio
Ray Ostroski is a corporate lawyer by trade who wrote and played songs on his guitar his entire life but didn’t do any studio recordings until he was 60 years old when he teamed up with Tom Borthwick and Joe Wegleski from SI Studios in Old Forge, PA to create and record his initial CD (“The Old Fart Sings”). Since then he has released 4 CDs in all as well as several singles which are all available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and all the major music streaming services. The songs he recorded were written from the age of 18 through his current age of 69 and represent personal experiences throughout his life. He loves the creative side of writing and recording music and enjoys every aspect of that process. He hopes that others enjoy listening to some of his songs and while he realizes his vocal limitations he feels that some of his songs could be hits if recorded by the right established recording artist.

I would love for some of my songs to be recorded by singers who have a lot better vocal chops than me.

Figuring out how to get my songs heard by artists or record executives who could connect them with being recorded.

What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?

I play guitar and write the words as I go. I don’t read or write music so it is all just me and my guitar until I record the music in a studio.

Is There Anything Else We Should Know About You Or That You Would Like to Add?

I am a 69-year-old former corporate lawyer who has been playing guitar and writing music since I was a teenager but only got serious about recording my music about 10 years ago. I realize my voice is limited but I think some of my songs are pretty good if they were recorded by someone with better vocal talent than me.
