Bio

Isaac Roosevelt & Timbhai Deliver Soulful Journey on ‘Juicy’ EP

Isaac Roosevelt, the American artist living in Germany whose soulful vocals and diverse musical upbringing have captivated audiences, has teamed up with renowned producer Timbhai for a new EP, ‘Juicy’. This four-track release is a captivating blend of Roosevelt’s roots and European influences, expertly woven together by Timbhai’s signature production style.

The EP kicks off with ‘Let Me Hold You’, a track that instantly transports listeners to the golden age of Motown. Roosevelt’s vocals are smooth and vulnerable, reminiscent of classic soul legends, while Timbhai’s production provides a warm and inviting backdrop. The song perfectly encapsulates the EP’s overall theme of longing and the search for connection.

Next up is ‘Strong’, a vibrant disco-infused anthem that provides a burst of energy. With its infectious groove and soaring vocals, ‘Strong’ is an instant mood lifter. Shimmering strings and a driving rhythm guitar create a euphoric atmosphere, showcasing Timbhai’s knack for crafting lush soundscapes. As Roosevelt sings of the enduring power of love, the track culminates in a triumphant celebration of human resilience.

‘Sing’ slows things down, offering a moment of intimate reflection. This stripped-back ballad allows Roosevelt’s voice to take centre stage, his vocals echoing with raw emotion. The track has a timeless quality, drawing inspiration from jazz and trip-hop while retaining a soulful core. It’s a testament to the power of the human voice to convey deep emotion and connect with listeners on a profound level.

Closing out the EP is ‘Home’, a poignant exploration of the search for belonging. Inspired by Roosevelt’s experiences living abroad, the song captures the complex emotions of homesickness and the desire for a place to call one’s own. The track seamlessly blends elements of R&B, Country, Western, and pop, reflecting the diverse musical landscape of Roosevelt’s life. ‘Home’ is a fitting end to an EP that explores the universal themes of love, longing, and the search for connection.
With ‘Juicy’, Roosevelt and Timbhai have created a truly captivating listening experience. The EP showcases both artists at their best, blending soulful melodies with innovative production. ‘Juicy’ is a testament to the power of music to transcend boundaries and touch the human soul.
