Leslie Faulkner is a Texas-born songwriter whose music carries the weight of grief, resilience, and small-town storytelling. Growing up in Alvarado, TX, she picked up the guitar at 12 when her mom—a singer-songwriter herself—turned the car around one day and bought her first guitar from a pawn shop. The two wrote countless songs together until her mother’s passing in 2018, which left Leslie without the heart to play. She packed the music away and sold her guitars.

After losing a close friend to suicide in 2025, Leslie turned back to songwriting as a way to process the pain. What began as private healing has grown into something bigger—songs once meant only for family and friends are now being heard all over the world.

At her core, Leslie is still just a small-town songwriter. Nothing may ever come of this, but if her music helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s all been worth it.
