I released my New project in 2020 before COVID-19 and I have just been promoting my new project my goal is to continue to share my music around the world and in the future I do plan to record but I want to continue promoting the reaching CD until all the juice is gone

I often think about what Tina Turner said she wanted to be considered a real artist and that’s where I am I want to be considered a real artist I’ve been out here a long time singing writing songs producing traveling and I want to be considered a real artist so any time I can get my music out and get my message across that is what I want to do
What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?
I like singing that’s the God I know and reveal your glory these two songs that I recently song in Little Rock Arkansas at a event outdoors and people were crying under their tits so these songs relate to people they are times when people will come up and sing the songs to me and I am grateful yet humble by all of the support I received
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
As an independent artist you know you pay for everything so just being able to continue supporting my music ministry that’s what has been you know tough for me that has been my challenges but I believe in myself I believe in my music and I have continue to support my music

It’s easy for me to write a song I think it goes back to my high school days I remember I ran for state office in Dekkadance distributive education clothes of America and when I gave my speech for state reporter when I finish my speech I received a standing ovation so I knew then that I had a gift of writing so it’s pretty easy for me to write a song I might you know how the melody and I made you no right to Melanie now go to the piano go to the keyboard and start working on it but it comes pretty easy you know when I think about a song to me is like a story you have the beginning the middle and the end

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
Before I started making music I work some odd jobs I worked at a nursing home I worked at Piggly Wiggly grocery out of high school I worked at Clara products I worked at Avis Rent-A-Car that’s the last job that I had before I went back to school to get a degree in elementary education and I started teaching school I taught school for 10 years and after that process I release my first CD in 1996 so I was working at Avis Rent-A-Car I started teaching school and then I started doing my music
Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
If you want to succeed in the music world you have to put a team around you like your family and friends that care about you they care about your music and they can help you because they’re going to speak truth to you they will help support you financially they will probably know some other people that can help you and believe in yourself
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
If I was a top music executive I would give more opportunities to independent artist because there’s a lot of music out there and on the radio some time you’re here maybe the top 40 over and over again but it’s a lot of independent artist like myself and his opportunity to be heard as well I remember when I was 19 years old I went to Nashville Tennessee and my plane was delayed I just started calling recording studios and Amanda and Allen cash came and pick me up I was 19 years of age he said I had a talent he wanted to produce me but I didn’t know what I know now and I would say that you have to be willing to put some money into what you’re doing to get the ultimate of what you’re trying to accomplish and had a known that I might have been further advance
How Do You Feel About Originality?
I think originality is important I want to be myself I don’t want to copy anyone else because there’s only one me and I’m the originator of me so I don’t wanna copy anyone else and I think people are looking for originality you know we’ve had in a Whitney Houston she’s very good there a never be another Whitney Houston they’ll never be another James Brown or Natalie Cole so be yourself
Is There Anything Else We Should Know About You Or That You Would Like to Add?
I would like to add that at the age of 15 I lost my voice because I had trouble with my vocal cords I have my vocal cords great through surgery and then I lost my voice completely and I was healed from the stroke condition so God is giving me a voice to sing and I’ve gone places and people are crying my daughter said she was in the club and the lady was telling her let me hear your dad song with me in the club granite a song that I recorded back in the day so it’s things like that that’s important to me and that makes me feel great that my music can make another person feel good or happy I’ve been you know singing for a long time I remember as a little boy my dad bought me my first musical instrument after going to the Arkansas state fair because I’m originally from Little Rock and
