Charles Hopson,
What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
Well the Musical Genre I intended for was R&B mix. I wanted to see what Genra I would be apart of. Instrumental Vibes would be the sound for my music. I want everyone to be able to vibe, dance, relax what ever it is that you are currently feeling you can listen to my music and enjoy it in peace.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
Well during the process of me drawing out the blue print for my brand. I had a debate with my self on whether or not if I would change my stage name. I was apart of a hardrock/ metal band I went by “Chocolate Thunda”. I was thinking if I want to keep my old stage name and make a new one. I thought if I do it then I would use my nick name “Charlie”. I thought Charlie was just to boring and it wasn’t catchy. I kept Charlie and added “that guy”. I thought about it and I wasn’t feeling it. So I just switch it around to That guy Charlie to see how that works. I thought about it and for when I hear fans say, “Hey it’s that guy Charlie.” Kinda has the same ring or feel like chance the rapper name.
What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?
Starting from the great James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, Marcus Miller Victor wooton, Esperanza Spalding,

My action plan is to keep working on my creation that everyone can vibe to.
How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
Social media has help my career pretty good. I wanted to become a YouTuber, but needed something to post on a daily bases. So I figured as I work on my music I would drop some snippet videos to catch some attention on my socials.
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
Before I started writing my own music I was apart of a Hardrock/metal/ hip-hop band called Dualstyles. Our sound was just like linking park during the time. I performed as a bassist as you know and we were on the rise to take over Chicago. I had leave the group for arising issues with in the group.
