How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?

Yes, there is a story, my story begins writing Poetry, than understanding lyric writing and

developing my own style, with so many lyrics, I was encouraged to find a singer, arranger,

performer to turn my lyrics into songs, that is where Chas Evans and I started as well as the

Nashville Song Service with Joe Robinson and Holly Sims, cd “Test of Time” There were times

in the beginning where working and collaborating with singers didn’t produce songs but I never gave up and here I am.

What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?

The Rolling Stones, Christopher Cross, Willie Nelson, The Who, Imagine Dragons, Jason

Aldean, Peter Gabriel

What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?

I am working on a New single with Chas Evans. The song is Titled “She Is” soon to be out, a

slightly provocativeI song, a rock song.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?

My goal is to learn and play my own songs as I learn the guitar and keyboard, bring my lyrics to

a band or singer, work on great songs with them, work, collaborate with singers from different

places, enrich my music experience, and share with others. I will continue to make new songs

as well.

What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?

I am not performing as of yet, but I look forward to that day.

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?

Breaking through the barriers in the music industry, getting my out there to those in the music

industry or major singers, let my songs resonate with so many listeners. This is a frustrating experience but I keep on trying.

What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?

I have a notebook in which I am driving to write down ideas that can be fleeting, a work, a line,

chorus, then begin writing my thoughts on paper, come back to what I wrote, and revise until I

reach a lyric that I believe will touch the listener. I sometimes have to find words that help me

complete my lyrics. I also, with my lyric writing service, get a request for a song on a topic, one

case, addiction. I wrote a lyric, going back several times, also asking the person how am I

doing, am I there on what you’re thinking, feeling. I sent her the completed lyrics and shared

with others, the word beautiful, which came out as the first work.

How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?

The exposure of music, listening to other writers that might have different thoughts on writing

and music and getting my songs heard as well.

Gabriel just to name some.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?

I begin music in my youth playing a cello, then dabbled with an acoustic guitar, then purchased a keyboard which I like to play and a tool in my lyric writing and sometimes offering more than a lyric to Chas and then began writing Poetry, lyrics

Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?

Never give up, pursue your dreams, keep things fresh, look for new ideas as you enjoy your

passion in music and don’t let barriers stop you in getting your music heard.

What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?

I would make it easier for opportunities for your music to get heard, not restrict new music to a limited selection of music, to only accept mainstream music and artists. There is so much Talent out there that does not get a chance to be heard or listeners don’t get to hear.

How Do You Feel About Originality?

I think Originality is okay but limiting, I think it is okay to think and create outside of the box,
