Raheyyu Hope is an aspiring singer/songwriter and has been singing since the tender age of 10 years old at a baptist church in Newark, N.J. She transitioned to worshiping at a non-denominational church in Paterson, N.J. Unfortunately, Raheyyu left her first love of music and stopped singing for many years. However, she would find her passion for singing again after the untimely and tragic death of her father. Pursuing her music once again allowing her heart to heal and hoping to do the same for others. She wants you to know that you are not alone in your journey.

What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
I feel that my music is eclectic. The music I release is music designed to revitalize and invigorate my listeners no matter what genre it is categorized. I don’t really like to label my music because music has a voice if it’s own.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
The name Raheyyu means “Blessed” and I was told many years ago that I would be given a new name Blessed Hope and have new
What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?
My musical influences are derived from my first love of gospel/contemporary Christian music, then RnB, HipHop and Classical music. I also enjoy country and Jazz music.
What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?
I am currently working on the release of my new song Imperfect/Strengthen Me. This will be my 6th single release and only Christian song.
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?
I hope to reach as many people as possible with my music as an antedote to heal hearts and minds around the World. However, if my music doesn’t go mainstream I’m just happy to be able to create and evolve.

My favorite track to perform live one day would be Watching and Message.
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
Trying to go mainstream and allowing myself to stay true to me no matter the obstacles that come my way.

Social Media has been an integral part of my creativity. I have been able to learn from others critiques and build upon my craft.

Before making music, I sang mostly in church, working in the transportation and pharmaceutical field. Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
I am still trying to discover what it takes, but I would encourage anyone who wants to succeed to be persistent and make the right connections.
