From Southwestern Kentucky to Southeastern Michigan, these friends since grade school are still making music while living 1000 miles away from one another. These two artists were never in a room together for any of these recordings yet you wouldn’t know by listening. Inspirational drum tracks are sent via internet and the rest is truly magic. A very wide range of influences have inspired them to create an ever changing style of music with hopes of attracting a more diversified audience. What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
A mixture of rock, alternative, rock reggae, blues and a few other genres of music is what influences the style of music that we write. Our music is unique and you will not find another artist that sounds like Cope Alley.

How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
From both of our last names Copeland and Tringali. We didn’t think people would get it if we spelled it Cope Ali, so we changed it to Alley.

What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and 311 just to name a few.

What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?
Our fifty-sixth song since we started this project in January of 2022.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?
To get a song on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?
Similar to Steely Dan in their early days, we have not yet performed live with this material. When and if the day should come, my favorite track to perform live would be “

Recording tracks 1000 miles away from one another.

What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?
Drew creates new ideas and sends drum tracks to me, or I send ideas including a guide track for him to follow. The rest is magic!

How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
It has offered insight to peoples musical preferences.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
I worked in the metal cutting industry machining automotive, light truck and heavy equipment components. Drew had his own business hanging Sheetrock for newly constructed homes and buildings.

Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
Write 50 songs and maybe someone will like one. Write 100 songs and maybe someone will like a couple.

What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
Reinstate more old school A&R talent scouts.

How Do You Feel About Originality?
Create something new and unique by letting your musical influences emulate within your own music.
